While all 6500 models use the same Turbine. The difference lies in the proprietary software and functions of each model’s control system.

The purpose of the NON GRID TIED Model is to supplement the owners Grid power consumption with green energy generated. Using a computerized SMART BOX for energy management, thereby reducing purchased grid power substantially.

The Non Grid Tied has no desire or ability to export power back to the grid, as it is to be used in applications where Utilities pay less to buy back, then they sell for, therefore it only makes financial sense to store the energy with a proper energy management system until it can be used, verses selling it back at a loss.
